Chinese wealthy loves flashy cars: Beijing Auto Show has SUV's and special edition cars galore: China is on the verge of becoming the world’s leading market for just about everything that is over-the-top expensive, as affluent Chinese are indulging in high-end products, including flashy cars. The luxury car manufacturers are holding no bars to customize special edition cars to appeal to the Chinese super rich; from gas-guzzling SUV’s, to bespoke coupe’s - the Chinese wealthy auto lovers seem to prefer as luxurious as it can get. Considering this craze for the high-end cars, the exotic car makers have released special edition cars for the China market, including the
Aston Martin Dragon88 and the
Ferrari 458 Italia Chinese edition finished with a gold dragon, to appeal to the Chinese buyers. At the 2012 Auto China Show in Beijing, carmakers wowed the visitors with SUV’s and special edition cars that includes the
Victoria Beckham Range Rover Evoque edition, Lamborghini Urus Concept SUV and the
Bentley’s first SUV concept car, to name a few. The auto show was all about flashy cars and opulence, from special edition cars with bespoke interiors to model wearing diamond studded gown.

At the autos show, the Spice girl turned fashion designer, Victoria Beckham reveled her design debut for Range Rover. She was appointed creative design executive at Range Rover in 2010, and was inspired by her footballer husband David Beckham, in creating the Range Rover Evoque Special Edition.

The car chairs are finished with bold, baseball-like stitching details, a special reference chosen by Victoria to her sporting husband. Whereas the luxurious floor mats, exclusively made from mohair were inspired by Victoria Beckham’s father’s Rolls-Royce. In addition, this special edition car boasts rose-gold plated luxurious interior accents along with hand-sewn leather wallet for the discerning owner’s manual signed by Beckham itself. However, and all these personal touches don’t come cheap; only 200 units will be produced costing $129,075 each.
